WHAT IS A COMPUTER 

COMPUTER:   

                 A computer is an electronic machine that accepts data, processes it and gives the output.We can divide the functions of computer in Three steps.

1.                                  Input

2.                                  Processing

3.                                  Output

INPUT:

              Data which we put into the computer for processing is called input. Data can be number, words and pictures. We feed input into the computer by keyboard. We feed pictures into the computer b y scanner.

PROCESSING:

                        The work which a computer does is called processing. It is the central processing unit (CPU) which processing input and gives us output.

In our daily life writing sewing cooking, making of furniture, machines etc. are the examples of processing.

OUTPUT:

               Output is the useful information produced by computer (CPU) after processing the input. Output can be in the form of words, number, pictures, sound and motions (movies).
